RCMI member in Rwanda [page 3]

On very short notice last month RCMI member Capt Marc Walsh of the Queen's York Rangers packed his kit and left for Rwanda. Marc is serving as the Public Affairs Officer for Operation Passage. Based in Mareru, a bumpy three-hour truck ride northwest of Kigali, he will be handling media inquires for 2 Field Ambulance which is tasked to carry out humanitarian assistance. He and the 200 other Canadians at the hospital expect to be in theatre for at least two months.
